Services

Please note inclusion criteria might apply, and some services might incur a consultation fee. Please  contact the pharmacy for more details or to book an appointment.

Essential Services

We provide a number of useful services free of charge through our pharmacy. These include disposal of unwanted and out of date medicines, promotion of healthy lifestyles, signposting to other healthcare services in the area, support for self care and provision of healthcare advice.

Flu Vaccination

Protect yourself against the seasonal influenza virus by booking an appointment for your flu vaccination. As well as our private flu vaccination service, we now offer the free NHS flu vaccination if you are eligible to receive it.

Travel Service
New Medicines Service

We can provide all necessary travel health advice for your journey. We will also discuss  the most appropriate malaria prevention and vaccination options for your destination and, if necessary, prescribe you prescription-only medication. See our Travel Clinic page for more information.

When your doctor prescribes you a new medicine, one of our pharmacists will explain how to take it, and any possible side effects you might experience. We will then support you with  follow up telephone conversations to answer any questions or concerns that you might have. Please note that this service is only available for medicines prescribed for certain conditions.

Repeat Prescription Service
Medication Use Review

Once you have registered in store, you can request repeat prescriptions via our online application form.  Alternatively, leave it in our hands and we will ensure that your next lot of medicines are ready to collect from us before your current ones run out.

Once a year, the pharmacist will review your medication with you to ensure that you are happy with why you are taking  it, and also to discuss any side effects that you may be experiencing.
